Graduates of the Palouse Mindfulness course are invited to come to the monthly meetings held in Moscow, Idaho (U.S.), usually on the second or third Thursday of each month, starting at 6:30 pm and ending by 8:30. These gatherings are designed to serve as both a refresher and a chance to reconnect with some of the other graduates. It also provides an opportunity to deepen the practice and/or experience of mindfulness.
In a typical meeting, there is a group meditation, an opportunity for group check-in, a short video related to the theme for that meeting, and group discussion.
Unfortunately, the meetings are not recorded or streamed for graduates who cannot attend in person, but the readings and videos presented at these meetings are available through the Graduate page.
If you are a Palouse Mindfulness graduate and are interested in coming to an upcoming meeting, please contact Dave Potter for details. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, January 18th.
First, we all have an inner teacher whose guidance is more reliable than anything we can get from a doctrine, ideology, collective belief system, institution, or leader.
Second, we all need other people to invite, amplify, and help us discern the inner teacher's voice.
