Joining the Palouse Mindfulness Community

Being a part of the Palouse Mindfulness Community enables you to participate in any of the Zoom Meditation and Discussion Meetings and/or to join the Palouse Mindfulness Facebook Group. Members are given the zoom link for the weekly meetings and receive a monthly email newsletter from Palouse Mindfulness. By participating in one or both of these forums, you will join a vibrant and active community of fellow students and graduates.

If you are already a graduate of the Palouse Mindfulness course you are automatically a member of the Community. If you are a new student and wish to join, send an email with "Palouse Mindfulness Community" as the subject to team@palousemindfulness.com following the directions below:

The email should include your name and your Getting Started Worksheet (PDF or WORD format). You can send the worksheet as an attachment, if that's easy to do, but it's enough to send the following information from your worksheet in the text of your email: (1) Your name, (2) What you hope will happen, (3) Your strengths, (4) When you will practice, (5) Where you will practice, (6) The time and day of the week you will prepare for the coming week's practice, and (7) A statement that you have read the "PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY" section and are confirming that you will take responsibility for your own mental and physical health while doing the course.

We don't share any of this information with anyone. This information simply lets us know that you are actually taking the course. We get many requests to join from people who aren't really taking the course, some of whom are looking for marketing opportunities or just think the group might be "interesting". By ensuring that all members of the group are either graduates or students actively taking the course helps to make the Palouse Mindfulness Community a productive and a safe place.

Within a day or two of receiving your email, we will send you the zoom link for the optional Zoom Meditation and Discussion Meetings, as well as.instructions for how to join the Palouse Mindfulness Facebook Group, if that's what you'd like to do.

As a member of the Palouse Mindfulness Community, you will also receive an email "newsletter" from us each month. You can unsubscribe at any time, but if you are planning to participate in any of the zoom meetings, it's recommended that you remain on the email list so that you will be informed of any changes to the zoom link.
