Welcome
The Palouse Mindfulness course is 100% free and is designed for people who are not able to take a live MBSR course for financial or logistical reasons. More than 7,000 graduates from 100 countries have completed all the course requirements (see Map of Graduates). -
Introduction
This includes several short videos introducing mindfulness and provides background about the beginnings of MBSR at the University of Massachusetts Medical school, as well as a longer, optional video, by Jon Kabat-Zinn, that goes into more detail about mindfulness and MBSR. -
Getting Started
What you need to know before you begin, including Frequently Asked Questions, opportunities for engagement with other students, how the course is structured, and information about formal and informal meditation practice. -
MBSR Manual
Although it is not necessary to have a printed manual to benefit from the program, having printed materials makes it easier to see what’s been covered, provides a very good reference for later review, and allows you to mark your progress through the course as well as highlighting passages and/or making notes. On this page are instructions for printing the manual. -
